The restaurant at Unisee is open - there is coffee and cake as well as dishes from the menu. Super friendly service and the kale you took with you was delicious! And the coffee with a view of the lake quickly passed the time while waiting.

Very nice staff. Always good for a coffee with milk on the walk around the Unisee. Delicious rolls at the breakfast plate, cakes rather boring. We haven't tried the other dishes yet, but they look appealing on the people sitting next to them.

Had lunch here today. Delicious. I had a vegetarian gratin. And the boss responded to my change request after my order (I don't like mushrooms and had overlooked this).

When the weather is nice, an unbelievably inviting location. From the terrace you have a great view of the entire Unisee. It invites you to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, I found the food really not that great today. The champion soup was creamy but hardly tasted like the mushrooms that gave it its name, although they were swimming in the soup, but unfortunately looked and tasted like they were tinned. The pikeperch was really well fried, but the curry sauce was rather tasteless. Overall, I would like the kitchen to spice up too. Salt and pepper at the table don't make up for that. The beef roast was really great, well braised, tender and simply delicious. Unfortunately, the sauce was again very bland. I'm not even talking about the potatoes. Sometimes salt, sometimes parsley potatoes, looked the same, tasted the same and, in my opinion, there was no salt here either. The tiramisu at the end, however, made me feel very positive again.

Look: Great. Service: very good. Food: Side dishes and desserts good to very good, meat / fish components mediocre. Roast beef might be a little greasy, but half of a decent serving of pure goo isn't that nice. The breading of the breaded pikeperch was a bit unconventional and had something of fried fish.

We had reserved a table for 2 people on Thursday at 8:00 pm, although we were 15 minutes late the table was still reserved for us. We both had a porcini mushroom soup as a starter which was just perfect. The cream was very flavorful and there were even fresh mushrooms in the soup. As a main course we had the two dishes shown, which tasted just as great. About the portions: They are very large and the price is very low in comparison. Hygiene is very important here in the restaurant. As we could see, every table was thoroughly disinfected and wiped. The staff is super friendly, accommodating and not intrusive or annoying. They asked at appropriate intervals whether everything was okay, which we thought was great. In conclusion: We recommend the restaurant to everyone who wants to get high quality food for a low price. And you don't have to be afraid to go there during the Corona period.

The restaurant is located on a forest lake. Excellent view from the terrace. The food is very, very good. Recommended grilled salmon.

We were here for breakfast. Right on the lake, bakery rolls, and served from the sausage and cheese counter. Including coffee for € 6 and the large breakfast with three rolls for € 9. Top price performance and great location. Very recommendable.

A special experience ... We were there for coffee on Sunday with 3 people. Since it was well attended there, we were not very surprised that the hot drinks and cakes we ordered were only put on the table after a good 20 minutes. The apple strudel I ordered didn't come. Well then, then not. The service was too busy to answer my request. However, we were very surprised when the apple strudel came after another 20 minutes. In response to my objection that we had actually finished our visit (the drinks and plates were empty) and wanted to pay, it was only succinctly the apple strudel had been ordered and could not be taken back. When I asked to discuss this with the boss, our waitress introduced himself as “boss on behalf”. We had to “learn” that we would have made the mistake of not saying when we placed our order that we would like the apple strudel at the same time as the cappuccino. It is quite normal for apple strudel to be delivered 20 minutes after the drinks ... Ah ha ... learned something again. All in all, an experience I don't want to have again. The extremely unfriendly and loud “explanation”, the completely incompetent handling of guests by the self-proclaimed “boss” were remarkable! Incidentally, the hygiene concept didn't really convince me here either. (Our table was only cleared, not disinfected or even wiped. We received the menu directly from the next table, also not disinfected)

A very nice restaurant right on the lake with seats on a large jetty. The coffee was great - just what you would expect in Italy. The lunch menu - there was a smart gratin, was really good. Huge portion in really cheap. I really liked everything. Great view, staff attentive, quick and friendly. Gladly again.

Good restaurant in a great location: the food is consistently good, the service prompt and the value for money. There is a star deduction for the fact that the food still has a little room for improvement. The rolls were no longer fresh and the bread with the salad a bit dry. The salad was plentiful, but the pesto was not particularly spicy. As I said, it could be a little bit better to get 5 stars. Even then it would not be a star restaurant, but appropriate to the scenery. Overall, I like to come here. After all, the food and service are consistently solid. The view of the lake and the tranquility near the city forest round off your stay.

Nice ambience with views of the lake. We all found the steak, sauce and potatoes very successful. A small salad would have been perfect. We will definitely be back ☺!

The staff are rude and lazy, they wont accept Visa or Mastercard if it's not from a german bank. It's a shame as the location is beautiful

Were very happy with the food. The cocktails were pretty good too. A very nice location and the terrace is right on the lake. The perfect place to cool off easily in summer! Reservation is recommended, especially if you want to sit outside.

Enjoy delicious in a beautiful location. There was nothing wrong with our food. Considering the location (popular destination right on the Stadtwaldsee), the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable and fair. The waitresses were very friendly and cheerful. The ambience is clean and well-kept. It was our first time in this restaurant and we really ask ourselves: "Why now?" It shouldn't be the last time. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The potatos from Grünkohl plate were very very salty. Pointed to waiter politely, unfortunately he was not willing to accept it even after other guests also confirmed it.

Poor food but even worse is the unfriendly staff, especially the owner. They tell you afterwards they accept cash only and try to force you to leave your id, which is illegal.

Relax sit and enjoy coffee or drinks with a view.....

Dessert were great!

Food (pasta, pizza) was fine, nothing to complain about. However the waiters were rude. And watch it:they only accept German debit cards. They wanted us to leave either an ID card (which is illegal BTW) and pay the day after or have someone stay while I fetched money. Opted for the latter. The food was not worth the hassle.

Service just isn't good enough. While serving it the dishes the ordered food got the wrong names, and my dish wasn't what I ordered. Penne instead of tagliatelle, and with mushrooms instead of porcini....
